Ortho-bionomy

What is ortho-bionomy?
Ortho-bionomy is a form of. “Gentle bone alignment”. It is a simple way to improve the energy flow to any part of the body especially to the bones and joints. But it can be used on the soft tissue as well.
As pain means an accumulation of energy and numbness a deficiency of energy when the body is very gently moved into positions of ‘no pain’ the energy has a chance to re-establish itself. This means that nearly any pain can be alleviated and the healing process helped.
By using ‘spontaneous release’ for the spine, joints and muscle pains, the pain actually melts away. Moving bones without force improves circulation, energy levels, organ vitality, nerve stimulation and blood flow.

How does it work?
The principle seems to work on the premise that, when a joint say, becomes affected, toxic waste starts to build up in the gap between the bones. This makes it painful, stiff and difficult for an osteopath to correct without constant visits. Whereas an osteopath will try to judge where a joint or bone should be and make a quick, sharp adjustment, with Ortho-bionomy, the body is slowly moved into a position of ‘no pain’ so that the joint opens up further and the increased blood flow that is stimulated, will literally wash away the toxins and the bones and joints will find their own corrected position. At the same time, the surrounding tissue is nourished and the muscles strengthened so that they will support the bones.
